Commercial Flat Roof Replacement - Versico 60mil TPO Membrane

Doyle Roofing completed a full commercial roof system replacement at the Rogers City Area Senior and Community Center in Rogers City, Michigan. The existing roof had failed, causing active leaks, interior damage, and major deterioration to the metal deck. With the nonprofit center facing possible shutdown due to limited funding, Doyle Roofing assisted in securing donations, donated much of the labor, acted as the general contractor, and served as the project point of contact. The new 7,000 sq. ft. roof system included Versico 60 mil TPO membrane over two layers of 2.9-inch polyisocyanurate rigid insulation.

Historic Restaurant Roof Restoration
Specialty Commercial Roofing Project
Doyle Roofing completed a specialty roof restoration at the historic Legs Inn restaurant in Cross Village, Michigan. The existing roof was deteriorating and leaking, requiring a restoration approach focused on waterproofing, preserving the building’s iconic roofline, and protecting one of Northern Michigan’s most recognizable landmarks. Doyle Roofing was selected for the project based on reputation, planning, and specialty roofing experience. Despite a weather delay, the project began May 20, 2026, and was completed by Friday, May 22, in time for the Legs Inn season opener.

TPO Membrane - Versico Roofing System

Doyle Roofing helped restore the historic North Manitou Shoal Light Station with a new TPO roofing system built to meet preservation standards and perform in harsh Lake Michigan conditions. With the lighthouse located offshore, the project required careful coordination, boat access, and hands-on material transport. The finished roof reflects Doyle Roofing’s strength in handling challenging, specialty projects.

Re-Roof
Bay Harbor Yacht Club partnered with Doyle Roofing to restore its patio plaza with a durable, waterproof roofing and paver system designed to protect the spa and fitness areas below while enhancing the member experience above. Doyle removed the failing tile and coating system, installed a fully adhered 135-mil VersiFleece® TPO membrane, and completed the assembly with a Hanover® pedestal paver system to create a long-lasting, attractive surface built for heavy use and Northern Michigan conditions.

Geogard Coating System - Re-Roof

Cheboygan Community Hospital worked with Doyle Roofing on a cost-effective roof restoration designed to extend the life of its existing 24,000-square-foot roof without the expense of a full replacement. With extensive rooftop equipment and a worn PVC membrane already in place, Doyle installed Republic’s Geogard® two-coat urethane coating system to create a durable, reflective, waterproof surface backed by a 12-year material and labor warranty.

At the Eikenhout Distribution Building in Grand Rapids, Doyle Roofing participated in a live demonstration of Versico’s RapidLock cold-weather application system, showcasing an efficient roofing solution designed to help keep projects moving in challenging conditions. The demonstration highlighted how RapidLock technology can support faster installation, strong membrane performance, and reliable application during colder weather, making it a practical choice for commercial roofing projects where speed, durability, and weather adaptability matter.

Plaza Paver System Install

Mission Point Resort partnered with Doyle Inc. Roofing to install a durable, attractive roofing system built to handle foot traffic, bicycles, and horse-drawn wagons. Doyle recommended a Plaza Paver system featuring two layers of XPS insulation and 80-mil VersiWeld® TPO, with VersiFleece® TPO fully adhered in skylight areas and sections with varying roof heights.
